Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using unpeel (the “App”), operated by Dot Homo LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you may not use the App. 

 

1. About the App 

unpeel helps parents and carers save and track their children’s body measurements and receive personalized clothing size recommendations when browsing supported UK retailers. The App is currently free to use and is intended for users located in the UK and EU. 

 

2. Accounts and Registration 

To use the App, users must create an account. When registering, you are required to provide accurate and complete information, including: 

  • Your first and last name, email address, and phone number 

  • Whether you are a parent or carer 

  • Information about your child(ren), including name, gender, and birthdate 

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. 

 

3. Data Collection and Privacy 

By using unpeel, you consent to our collection and use of the information you provide, including your child(ren)’s body measurements and personal details. This data is used solely to provide personalized size recommendations and improve the App’s functionality. 

All data entered into the app is stored securely. We do not share your data with advertisers or sell it to third parties. We do not process payments, and we do not allow users to post or share content publicly within the App. 

We use trusted third-party services to support the operation of our platform. For more details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy. 

 

4. Size Recommendations Disclaimer 

unpeel provides guidance based on the data you enter and sizing information from supported retailers. You are responsible for the accuracy of any measurement or sizing data entered. These are estimates only and are not a guarantee of fit or preference. We are not responsible for sizing discrepancies or fit issues that may arise when purchasing from third-party retailers. 

 

5. User Conduct 

This app is intended exclusively for parents and legal guardians. It is not directed at children and should not be used by individuals under 18.

By using the App, you agree not to: 

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose 

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt the functionality of the App 

  • Create false accounts or submit inaccurate data 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we determine you are misusing the App or violating these Terms. 

 

6. Intellectual Property 

All content, features, and functionality in the App (excluding data you provide and of supported third party retailers) are owned by Dot Homo LTD and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without our written permission. 

 

7. Modifications and Updates 

We may update or modify the App from time to time to improve functionality or add new features. While we may notify users of important updates, we are not obligated to do so. 

We may also modify these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. You should review this page periodically.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dot Homo LTD shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on size recommendations or third-party retailer information. We are also not responsible for any issues related to purchases made through third-party retailers based on size recommendations from the App.


11. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

By using unpeel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. 

 

12. App Store and Google Play Compliance 

unpeel is available for download through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You acknowledge and agree that: 

  • These platforms are not responsible for the App’s content, functionality, or any support services. 

  • Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the respective platform (e.g., Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, Google Play Terms of Service). 

If you download the App via the Apple App Store, you agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. 


13. Change to This Terms and Conditions

We may, and reserve the right to update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
